About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA License # 45183) and have been practicing in the field since 2003. My professional experience includes work in  various outpatient mental health settings, providing individual and group therapy to kids, teens, and adults. Much of my early career was spent working with children who experienced sexual abuse, and who were in the juvenile delinquency system or foster homes. I also helped families cope with difficult parenting struggles.

My professional journey then led me to a medical community clinic in North County San Diego, providing integrative behavioral health service to adults. After this experience in the medical community, I am now well-versed in various medical conditions that impact mental health, including pregnancy-related anxiety and depression. I am also familiar with psychotropic medications and their effects as well as have actively participated in collaborative treatment team meetings with client’s medical providers.

My interest in integrative care and athleticism led me to further my education in  nutrition and  exercise and their impact on mental health. I am  passionate about helping individuals heal their minds and bodies using trauma-informed somatic modalities. My history in the performing arts as a singer and dancer, as well as my love and dedication to athletics and fitness, have inspired me to help clients address “performance” issues to reach their ultimate potential.
